SHE’S ALL THAT! STOP MOTION MAKE-UP TUTORIAL

I was inspired by photographer Guy Bourdin and the images he took of all these brightly coloured women and of these old YSL cosmetic campaigns Irecently found in some old Italian Vogue from the ’80’s.

Playing with such bold colours, I felt I needed to do it in a more interesting way than a straight-up tutorial. Stop motion is about taking a single shot after every single stroke, which meant I would draw a fraction of say the lipliner, take a shot, and then draw a little more. Yep, it’s time consuming but so worth it once you have the finished product!
