No need to mess around with eye-primers, shadows and messy eye-liners in attempt to make eyes look larger than life. The eye opening truth is you can do it in 3 easy steps and with just 3 – fool proof – products! The results… Bigger, brighter, wider eyes.
Step 1; A dual ended, wind up applicator designed to highlight the eyes, in all the right spots. Rim the inner water-line with the fine, flesh-colour tip of the applicator to remove redness and make the eyes look wider. Attract and reflect light into the eye area by applying the cream illuminator (which is in the thicker end of the applicator) to the inner corners of the eyes, along the lash line and high on the brow bone to make eyes look brighter and larger.
Step 2; The single most important tool to a makeup artist when it comes to the eyes, would have to be the Eyelash Curler. No eye makeup is complete without curling the lashes. Not only do they make lashes look longer and more prominent in a single curl, but they make eyes look larger and more awake. Tip; For stubborn lashes curl as close to the base of the lash and then again mid-way up the lash -before mascara of course. Don’t be afraid to repeat!
Step 3; If you look back at images of woman in the 60’s (think Twiggy & Jean Shrimpton) their eyes always looked larger and most of the part, brighter. Amongst a few things, like the right arch in ones brow and a few carefully placed individual lashes, it all came down to applying mascara in a way that made your lashes look longer therefor making eyes look wider. No need to bother with lashes these days, Givenchy have been so kind to design a mascara that can make our lashes longer than ever before. The ‘stretch extension wax’ formula coast each individual lashes extending like no other. Backed with a patented spherical brush head, specially designed to get deep into the lash both top and bottom with ease. I think it’s safe to say, this would have definitely been one of Twiggy’s must-haves had it been around!
