Like the face, the body also needs a little love and attention. No matter how killer your tan is – fake of course- or how much you moisturise, dead skin cells build up on the bodies surface just as they do on the face. Skin that is exfoliated regularly looks smooth, more radiant and ultimately more youthful!
I love people that talk of making home-made scrubs in the kitchen with all these amazing raw & organic fresh ingredients, all while the bath, littered in candles is running. I myself dream of afternoons spent at some fabulous day spa where some woman is up to her elbows in a delicious body scrub buffing away at my body. Who doesn’t?
Lets be honest though- who actually has the time or the patience for either of these? If your anything like me, you want all those things wrapped up in one neat little package that’s preferably delivered to the door? Well guess what? I’ve found exactly that… Ok, well minus one scrubbing lady anyway!
Babe Scrub is the name and bootylicious is there game. Made from raw, fresh, & organic goodness, there are 3 different flavours in the range to suit every need and desire.
First off the rank is the Green Tea Scrub. With ingredients like Seaweed, Sweet Almond Oil and of course Green Tea, this scrub is designed to detox, heal and purify the skin. I’ve been breaking this one out before bed as there is some what of a calming effect on the skin and body after use. Use it in the shower while your body is damp and start buffing. I like to buff-it-up in a circular motion. Once I’ve sufficiently exfoliated, I like to give it a second or two just to let all those yummy mineral & oils sink in and then rinse.
Second off the jumping block is the Coffee Scrub. I don’t know about you, but I find there is nothing better than a morning coffee to jump start my day? With the main ingredient being coffee this scrub is all about energising the skin and your circulation. Great for breaking down cellulite lumps and bumps, while still nourishing the skin. Tip; Give a little extra love to any areas that cellulite has shown it’s ugly head on. The more you scrub, the more you will stimulate the area and get the circulation going helping to breaking down cellulite and any toxins trapped under the skin.
Last but not least is one of my personal favourites. The Pink Salt Scrub is a muscles idea of heaven. Scrub your entire body to exfoliate the skin and stimulate the flow of blood and then take a minute and give your body and muscles a much deserved soak. Known for it’s rejuvenating qualities Himalayan Pink Salt is the go- to for relaxing tired and sore muscles. I’ve been running a quick hot bath, giving myself a once-over scrub and then soaking in a few extra handfuls just to take the edge off my sore and tired muscles. A great way to end the day and get a good, deep nights sleep.
