Revolutionary ‘cream-to-set’ eyeshadows are sweeping the market, making smokey eyes and long wear eyeshadow a way of the future for everyone.
This Season we saw liquid to matt lips take the industry by storm, being one of the biggest trends of the season making bold lips in every shade from nude to chocolate fool-proof to achieve for even the most makeup challenged of us. Now, the trend has moved into the eyeshadow department and Gilded Cage has mastered the trend with their Revelation Eyeshadows making smokey eyes more accessible and easier to master with little to no experience needed.
Revelation Eyes is a creamy, metallic, build-able shadow that sets for a round the clock long-wearing, crease-proof 3-D shadow. Like their liquid-to matt lipsticks cousin, Gilded Cage cream-to-set shadows are packaged in a similar cylinder-like-container with a magic felt tip applicator allowing you to quickly and effortlessly smudge eyes with a sheer wash of colour or layer-em-up for a bold smoke-in-your-eyes look.

Like painting your lips, the felt tip applicator is used in the exact way around the eyes painting your desired smokey eye shape and finish by blending out the edges with your finger tip for a high impact, professional-finish eye… Or blend a single stroke of creamy shadow across your lash line and blend out to a sheer wash of wet-look colour by using your fingers.
Unlike powder shadow there is no risk of fall when applying or building your shade plus the shadow is packed full of nourishing oils to keep your eyeshadow soft, flexible and weightless on the lid, improving wearability and longevity.
Whether I’m laying colours together or using a single shade, Revelation Eyes gives me a fool-proof, high impact, minimal effort shadow that lasts the test of time.

Step 1: Revelation Eyeshadow in No.5 Metallic Mahogany through the contours of the eyes for depth – which I painted with the magic felt tip and blended with my finger tip.
step 2: I then applied a thin line of No.17 Metallic Sage using the felt tip applicator along the lash line till just past the half way mark of the lid before blending up to the just under the contour of the eye with my finger tip! I love the control and feeling of blending with my fingers!!
To finish… I double coated lashed with a black mascara & warm peach nude on the lips to keep the focus on the eyes and not over do the look!
